The North County Joint Union School District Board of Trustees believes that school facilities and grounds are a vital community resource which should be used to foster community involvement and development (BP 1330).

All requests will be handled through ML Schedules. See links below for Registration and Login instructions. Use the Quick Start Guide for how-to instructions on requesting facility use.

Submitting a Facility Use Request

Facility Use General Guidelines

1. School groups and programs are given priority usage of all District facilities. Click HERE for the Classification of Groups for Rental Fees. The Principal/Superintendent reserves the right to cancel any requests for school use, should a conflict with a school group or program develop.
2. Applications will NOT be processed without all information, including the certificate of insurance. NJCUSD requires all non-school groups (except when these groups are requesting space for routine meetings) to furnish a Certificate of Insurance ($1,000,000 minimum liability coverage) that lists NCJUSD as “Additional Insured.”
   1. Group usage that involves any interaction with children, including but not limited to District students, shall provide specific coverage for Abuse/Molestation with limits not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, either by separate policy or by an endorsement on the General Liability coverage.
3. The lessee has read and agrees to all Use of District Facilities Terms & Conditions. Click HERE.
4. Users will be billed after the event in accordance with the schedule of usage fee or rental charges. In addition to the facility rental fees, renters will be required to pay fees for custodial, cafeteria, and other fees associated with the rental. All checks should be made payable to the NCJUSD. 5. A $250 security deposit will be collected for events with more than 25 attendees.
6. NCJUSD reserves the right to request an organization to arrange for security protection, activity personnel and/or traffic supervision for activities involving more than 100 people in attendance, or for activities deemed to be high-risk. Such requests will be at the discretion of Administration and at the expense of the lessee. If security personnel are required a 10% surcharge will be added.
7. On days when school is cancelled or dismissed early because of unexpected circumstances (i.e. severe weather), all activities are cancelled.
8. A cancellation notice of at least 7 days is required, otherwise, there will be a $25 charge for each occurrence where a facility is reserved but not used. If the total charge for one school year reaches $100, the group will be denied the privilege of any further rental for the remainder of school year.
9. The permit holder is responsible for cleaning and restoring the facility to its original condition immediately after use or an additional fee will be charged.
10. The individual signing, as a condition of use, agrees to be held financially responsible for any loss or damage to District property, including but not limited to buildings, furniture, equipment and/or grounds.
11. Additional charges will apply if the facility is used beyond the originally requested duration.
12. Cancellation or denial of facility use may be made at the NCJUSD’s discretion. Any organization causing damage or vandalism of District facilities will not be allowed to use the facilities again. Organizations that do not pay for facility use after being billed will be denied future use of facilities.
