General Registration

General Registration Requirements

All students need an immunization record, birth certificate and proof of residence. Kinder and 1st grade need proof of a physical exam for school entry.

Immunization requirements are as follows:

  • 4 doses at any age, but 3 doses meet requirement for ages 4-6 if at least one was given on or after 4th birthday
  • 3 doses for ages 7-17 if at least one was given on or after the 2nd birthday
DTP
  • 5 doses at any age, but 4 doses meet requirement for ages 4-6 if at least one was on or after the 4th birthday
  • 4 doses at any age for ages 7-17, but 3 doses meet requirement if at least one was on or after the 2nd birthday
MMR
  • 2 doses for kinder and 7th grade
  • 1 dose for grades 1-6 and 8-12
Hepatitis B
  • 3 doses
Varicella
  • 2 doses for TK/Kindergarten
Tdap
  • Required for entry into 7th Grade

 

Parents of incoming students who live in the NCJUSD boundaries will be able to take an enrollment packet for registration. Parents of incoming students who do not live in the NCJUSD boundaries will be able to put their child’s name on a waiting list and apply for an interdistrict transfer from their home district. Once the interdistricts have been approved by the district of residence and sent to NJCUSD, the superintendent will accept students based on space availability.
