Principal's Message
Welcome to Spring Grove School!
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
Spring Grove School is a special place to learn. As the Superintendent/Principal for 16 years and a staff member for 21, it’s a place where everyone knows your name and cares about children both academically and emotionally. Teachers are dedicated to the academic success of each and every student. Response to Interventions are provided with additional push in support by an Intervention Support Specialist, pull out programs for struggling readers, after school support for 1st-3rd graders, after school tutoring for 4th-8th graders, and after school support for Long Term English Learners. Extra-curricular activities are also provided to students with after school enrichment classes, ASB, theatre arts, sports for 6th-8th grade, lunch time clubs and the Kindness Club for all students. There is something for everyone!
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides support and materials for Spring Grove School as well. Parents read for the Asset Building Champions (ABC) program, volunteers assist with the many activities on campus, and teacher wish lists are filled! The PTO fundraisers throughout the year to support our students.
The traditions at Spring Grove School focus on students and the family community that makes us unique. Here are a few of the many traditions: Turkey Trot for 1st-8th grade which is in its 38th year, Annual Winter Program, Theatre Arts production celebrates 17 years, 6th grade science camp, and Reading Buddies.
Our school is dedicated to helping students grow and learn. It takes communication and connections between parents, staff, and administration to encourage and motivate our students to be the best that they can be. Together we will make a difference in the lives of our students at Spring Grove School!
