TK/Kindergarten Registration

2024-2025 Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Registration

The Kindergarten Readiness Act of 2010, (SB 1381), revises the age criteria for kindergarten.

TK is offered to students who will turn 5 years old between September 2nd and June 1st. Students enrolled in TK will participate in a 2 year kindergarten program at Spring Grove School. TK is taught by a credentialed teacher and follows the kindergarten schedule. Please contact Mrs. Bernosky (ext. 111) for further questions.

Registration will open for the TK and Kindergarten programs in February so that administration can begin to plan enrollment for the coming year. The registration packet includes proof of residency. Parents take the forms at the time of registration and return the forms as soon as possible.

Parents of incoming TK and Kindergarten students who live in the NCJUSD boundaries will be able to take an enrollment packet for registration.

Parents of incoming TK and Kindergarten students who do not live in the NCJUSD boundaries will be able to put their child’s name on a waiting list and apply for an interdistrict transfer from their home district. Once the interdistrict has been approved by the district of residence and sent to NJCUSD, the superintendent will accept students based on space availability.

Parents who work 10 or more hours within the NCJUSD boundaries may request an Allen Bill Application in the District Office. Once the application and the place of employment and hours per week verification have been approved, the superintendent will accept students based on space availability.

We will begin accepting registration packets on February 5, 2024. Kinder and TK registration is in the Spring Grove SCHOOL office.
